Our partner is a supplier of public transportation solutions and self-service systems used in urban infrastructure and ticketing applications. Addit participated in the project as a contract manufacturing partner responsible for the production, assembly, and quality assurance of complete ticket vending machines designed for long-term operation in public environments.
The project required combining outstanding structural durability, environmental resistance, and premium manufacturing quality. The enclosures operate outdoors and are continuously exposed to UV radiation, humidity, temperature fluctuations, and intensive use while remaining fully visible to users from all sides.
Addit developed and implemented a complete manufacturing process incorporating laser welding technologies, surface preparation, advanced coating processes, and mechanical assembly of finished products. Particular attention was devoted to visual quality, manufacturing precision, and ensuring full traceability of manufacturing and coating processes. Every unit underwent comprehensive quality inspection, functional testing using dedicated customer-supplied test equipment, and individual final acceptance performed jointly with the customer.
By combining advanced manufacturing expertise, extensive contract manufacturing experience, and a comprehensive quality assurance system developed and continuously refined by Addit, the customer received products offering consistent manufacturing quality, outstanding durability, and full compliance with the operational and visual requirements applicable to equipment intended for long-term use in public spaces.
Scope of the Project
- analysis of technical, quality, and environmental requirements for enclosures intended for outdoor operation
- development of manufacturing technologies ensuring the required geometric tolerances and manufacturing quality
- implementation of a coating process reporting and traceability system
- implementation of laser welding technology without process holes for structural components
- integration of reinforcing elements using structural polymers
- surface preparation and execution of coating processes providing corrosion protection in accordance with C3–C5 environmental classes
- inspection of numerous paint-free areas requiring exceptionally high manufacturing precision
- mechanical assembly of complete enclosures with verification of manufacturing conformity
- execution of functional testing using dedicated customer-supplied test equipment
- 100% quality inspection of every manufactured unit, including joint final quality acceptance with the customer
