New corrosion protection methods

Beeing proactive supplier to our partners is one of our most valuable priorities. At Addit, we feel obliged to understand our customersneeds and meet their expectations.

We look through our partnerseyes and advise them on every matter. Our investment in state-of-the-art technology is a testament to this commitment. We are proud to offer contractors highly efficient, automated and sustainable production processes that meet the highest quality standards.

Meeting the needs of partners and the market, we have purchased a Corrosionbox H salt chamber, with which we examine carefully and evaluate the effectiveness of the corrosion protection methods used. Our aim is to verify the assumed corrosion resistance in relation to the system used by the supplier, implemented under our conditions.

Recently, our employees completed training in conducting resistance tests on coated metals in accordance with PN EN ISO 9227. The test and test results will provide us with concrete data for evaluating the quality and resistance of metallic materials.

On the results of the salt chamber, we can advise customers whether a system with, for example, three layers is necessary for the corrosion resistance required, or whether a two-layer system is sufficient. We continuously examine and control the entire paint process by performing ongoing tests, such as thickness, gloss, colour, destructive tests (cross-test, impact test, anti-graffiti test) and corrosion tests. We also cooperate with external laboratories, commissioning tests in a moisture condensation chamber.
