In the project of this noteworthy high-speed cutsheet inkjet digital press, Addit was involved from the development phase with:
- Developing sheet metal parts, supporting the partner’s R&D with knowledge of precise sheet metal processing
- Supporting customer’s R&D in the range of surface treatment possibilities
- Producing prototypes
- Manufacturing demanding sheet metal parts for very precise and very efficient paper flow.
Scope of the project:
In this project Addit has proven its competences as a contract manufacturer in scope of demanding sheet metal processing by:
- Developing bending technology for LEINEN sheet metal using roller dies with rubber or plastic insert
- Measurement of parts using special templates simulating working conditions of the part in the machine
- Reaching very tight shape tolerances
- Reaching smooth part surfaces, which is very important for proper paper flow inside the machine
- Bending of embossed parts
- Management of significant number of product’s revision changes
- Organization of a special QRM production cell dedicated only for the customer.
