Covid-19 has changed the way we live our daily lives and run our businesses. Many new product segments have been created to fight and stop the global pandemic. One of our partners supplies products intended for sanitary applications. Addit was involved in the project from design to production.
The biggest challenge in this project of hand disinfection units was the time to market. Six variants of prototypes had to be ready within four weeks after receiving the order. Another challenge was reaching the cost targets for the products, the design had to be robust, as the products were to be used by thousands of people a day, and friendly to manufacture at the same time.
