Our partner in this project is a leading manufacturer of automated systems designed to support laboratory processes. The implemented solution enables simultaneous processing of a high volume of samples while maintaining exceptional precision and reliability of results.
Addit participated in the project as a contract manufacturing partner responsible for the production of precision sheet metal components, as well as the assembly and testing of key device modules, including mechanical structures and mechatronic systems.
The project required us to develop new competencies in mechatronic assembly and handling of sensitive electronic components. A critical requirement for meeting project specifications and protecting delicate measurement elements was the establishment of a fully ESD-protected assembly area.
Scope of the project:
- Selection and qualification of suppliers for materials and specialized components, including custom-made parts
- Supply chain management in a contract manufacturing model, including quality assurance and on-time delivery control
- Development of processing technologies for anodized materials and surface protection against damage
- Optimization of manufacturing processes for sheet metal components with tight tolerances
- Design and implementation of dedicated production tools and assembly fixtures
- Optimization of logistics, warehousing, and cost processes related to serial production
- Mechanical assembly and integration of mechatronic and electronic components in full ESD protection for handling sensitive components
- Testing of modules using dedicated customer-provided systems, software and measurement tools
- Preparation of quality documentation and test reports for each production batch
- Ensuring repeatable, high-volume deliveries based on forecasts and contractual agreements
