Quickice, a rapidly growing manufacturer of vending machines, entrusted Addit with the comprehensive execution of metal components for a unique vending machine solution.
Addit was responsible for the complete scope of work related to the design and manufacturing of sheet metal and metal components – from engineering design and assembly, through the development of multiple prototype versions, to supply chain organization and serial production.
In close cooperation with the customer, we also carried out engineering activities including:
- functional optimization of mechanical components, including a specially designed mixing mechanism,
- selection of appropriate materials and surface finishing technologies,
- improvement of the product’s visual appearance,
- enhancement of structural rigidity and stability,
- optimization of assembly processes,
- implementation of anti-theft features,
- weight reduction of the structure,
- cost optimization.
Scope of the project
Within the project, Addit was responsible for:
- optimization of the customer’s design,
- basic and detailed engineering of sheet metal components and mechanical parts,
- preparation of complete technical documentation,
- prototyping,
- supply chain organization and management,
- manufacturing of sheet metal and metal components,
- mechanical assembly and testing of the machines,
- logistics and deliveries to the customer.
