Our partner is a global manufacturer of premium-class professional laser projectors used at major stage events, concerts, multimedia shows, and installations operating continuously in 24/7 environments.
Addit was responsible for the production of an advanced lens positioning module designed for precise alignment of the projector’s optical system.
This project is based on contract manufacturing and complements other products involving precision sheet metal modules, perfectly fitting into the one-stop-shop model. The scope included production technology preparation, assembly, testing, and management of the global supply chain. In addition to this module, Addit also manufactures precision thin sheet metal components for this customer. Within this product group, Addit has been involved in the customer’s projects from the very beginning — from technical consulting, prototyping, and industrialization to serial production.
A key challenge in these projects is the production of components operating under extreme mechanical and thermal conditions, exposed to vibrations, frequent transportation, high temperatures, and continuous 24/7 operation.
Addit implemented a stable and scalable manufacturing process, ensuring high quality repeatability despite frequent revision changes and highly variable demand. The project also required the integration of components from dedicated suppliers across Europe and Asia, as well as the implementation of advanced assembly and testing processes in a fully ESD-protected environment. Thanks to its strong engineering expertise and comprehensive quality control system, Addit ensured full compliance with the customer’s strict technical and visual requirements.

- Implementation of mechanical, electrical, and electronic assembly processes in full ESD protection for sensitive components

- 100% testing of modules using a dedicated test system integrated with the customer’s system — providing the customer with online access to test results
- Ensuring product compliance with strict technical, functional, and visual requirements
- Delivery of fully assembled serial-production modules that do not require additional inspection on the customer’s assembly line
